The host chooses one charity and Mike chooses another. Guests vote with tips placed in two visible buckets. Both charities keep every dollar contributed to them, while the charity with the most tip dollars also receives the performance fee paid by the venue or host.

The friendly competition gives guests a clear, optional way to participate. It creates conversation and momentum without requiring another speech, app, auction item, or complicated giving platform. The mechanics can be explained briefly from the stage and reinforced by event signage.

Does Mike collect a personal performance fee?
Under the Charity Challenge model, the venue performance fee goes to the winning charity, and all voting-bucket tips go to the participating charities.
Can the format support one featured nonprofit?
The signature format uses two causes, but contact Mike to discuss the event’s goals and the most appropriate structure.
